The Dawning of the Golden Age of Aquarius
(Redefining the Concepts of God, Man, and the Universe)
Note:
We are at the threshold of a transitional period from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius. What should we expect from this coming New Era? What are its signs? What is the fate of human spirituality? What will the new concepts of God and of religion be? This book attempts to answer these questions based on well researched sources complemented and endorsed by cosmology, archeology, psychology, religion, Near East studies, and mythology, among other scientific disciplines.
The book also intends to clarify the confusion created by some Protestant religious leaders and sensationalistic writers who have misinterpreted the signs of the transitional period as the end of the world. The truth is that we are witnessing a shift of ages, that is, the slow evolution from the Piscean Era to the commencing of a new worldwide social order, a new chapter in human history called the Aquarian dispensation.
The huge conspiracy propounded by false prophets and some New Age writers, whether overtly or covertly, feeds the fear and anxiety of ordinary people with unfounded apocalyptic propaganda. This book attempts to give the reader an accurate perspective regarding the planetary transformations that are taking place; it offers hope and inspiration as we approach the Golden Age.
We are fortunate enough to be witnessing one of the greatest socio-political and religious transformations that the planet Earth has ever undergone. A correct understanding of this fact is extremely vital for modern man, so he can be mentally prepare to confront the upheavals that these changes of cosmic dimensions entail. This is the time for the realization and practical application of the ancient axiom “Man, know thyself.” Indeed, the fundamental purpose of this new dispensation is the change of paradigm regarding the relationship between a far-away, distant God and an orphaned, alienated man. The era of organized religion as a means of control and as intermediary between God and man is coming to an end; instead, we will see acknowledgement of a direct spiritual connection of each individual with the Divine Self.
This book attempts to help the reader gain a real perspective on the universal changes that have been taking place as the world entered the new millennium. The moral and psychological crisis that modern man is confronting is due to the lack of a central myth that can give him a meaning and purpose at both the individual and collective level. The Piscean Age’s myth – Judeo-Christian religion - has definitively lost power and influence in the occidental world as the carrier of a spiritual myth. Thus, it is extremely important to redefine the concepts of God, man, and the universe based on the breakthrough strides made in many scientific disciplines such as archeology, anthropology, depth psychology, perennial philosophy, quantum mechanics, biology, etc.
The atheist viewpoint of Sigmund Freud is somehow similar to that of Friedrich W. Nietzsche regarding the Judeo-Christian God. The first postulated that man created God as a means of compensation and remorse because primeval man killed the tribal father. The second stated that God is dead, and man has killed him. In both cases, man murdered the image of God; here, both are referring to the Piscean God-image. C.G. Jung ascertained that the Christian God is a historical “psychic phenomenon,” an epiphenomenon of the “collective unconscious” that evolves with time. We agree with this assertion; thus, the need to identify a new God-image and a new myth for the coming Era is essential for modern man.
During the Piscean Era, the fundamental tenet of the Judeo-Christian religion was the Biblical verse that affirms, “God created man in his own image and likeness.” This statement is definitively an anthropomorphic conception because it presupposes the idea of a corporeal God who has exactly the same attributes and features as man. Thus, to believe in this Biblical verse is to validate the criticism of the materialistic and atheistic conception that claims man creates God and ascribes to Him his attributes, hopes, and needs. Or as Freud said, the creation of God represents a child-like longing for a protective father.
On the other hand, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam sprang from the patriarch Abraham; thus, these three religions have a common origin in the covenant between Abraham and his God Y-H-V-H, erroneously rendered as Jehovah (or Yahweh). Incidentally, the Hebrew four-consonant word known as the Tetragrammaton (Y-H-V-H) does not have proper rendering in any modern language. Contrary to other religions, these three claim to be universal and dispute supremacy among one another. Ironically, the relationship among these three religions has been antagonistic since their inception in human history.
As we enter into a New Dispensation, many changes are taking place around the world that many Protestant religious leaders and some New Age writers have taken as signs of the end of the world. This book attempts to demonstrate that the challenging situation the world is facing is part of a natural cycle in human history. The political, socio-economic, and religious upheavals are necessary adjustments for the entrance into a new worldwide order of social and economic justice, which will be based on a higher level of international understanding and knowledge. Consequently, our main thesis is that the crisis the world is undergoing at the present time is a series of signals indicating that we are entering into a transitional period from one epoch to another. In other words, we are witnessing the end of the Piscean Era and the slow dawning of the Aquarian Age. Thus, our tasks are fourfold:
• To set an approximate date for the commencing of the Golden Era: the Aquarian Age.
• To delineate the sociological and religious characteristics of the Piscean and Aquarian Eras.
• To counteract the negative influence of the false predictions regarding the end of the world.
• To describe the socio-spiritual messages and meanings of these cosmic ages based on science, religion, myths, and universal symbols.
Our viewpoint is that the end of the Long Count of the Mayan calendar and the socio-economic and political upheavals the world is facing are only indicators of the beginning of a new chapter in the world; they are the signs that foretell the commencing of the Aquarian Age.
We endeavor to counteract all the wild sensationalistic and reckless speculation regarding the advent of an apocalyptic catastrophe where only the chosen ones will be saved. Our contention is that there is a huge conspiracy propounded by false prophets and some New Age writers who have misinterpreted the signs of the arrival of the Golden Age for the end-of-days; whether overtly or covertly, they intend to generate a potent collective egregor, which is a shared psychic energy, toward a negative future of the world. Modern psychology, neuroscience, and epigenetics have demonstrated beyond any shadow of a doubt that man can bring about harmful outcomes with his intentions and negative expectations. This mental energy is magnified to its utmost degree by the tremendous power of mass thinking that can lead to the creation of self-fulfilling prophecies. The idea is to neutralize the effects of this negative thinking with the truth that there is no such thing as the end-of-days. If there is any, as Jesus Christ already admonished, nobody knows it, neither the date nor the hour. Thus, there is nothing to worry about.
Historically, there have been numerous unsuccessful prophecies made by the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ leaders, especially since the year 1914. According to the founders of this organization, 1914 was supposed to be the end of the world, and only the members of this organization were supposed to be saved by their god. Lately, the radio preacher Harold Camping has mounted massive propaganda through Family Radio, pamphlets and flyers disseminated for free, in addition to his website. His predictions are based on an incorrect interpretation of the Bible; he preached with absolute certainty a religious rapture for May 21, 2011 and the end of the world for October 21, 2011. Similarly, Rev. Ronald Weinland, who calls himself “God’s prophet for this end-time,” is predicting the destruction of the world by May 27, 2012. On the other hand, the well-known author Zecharia Sitchin propounds the return of extraterrestrials – the Anunnaki—for 2012, who will generate a devastating effect on the planet Earth. These are only a few of the most conspicuous personalities preaching apocalyptic events; in addition, there are hundreds of religious leaders that preach the end of the world at Sunday services.
The truth is that there is no scientific or religious basis for these apocalyptic forecasts. Universal changes are taking place to accommodate the birth of new chapter in human history, the end of the Piscean Age and the commencing of the Golden Era: the Aquarian Age.

Dr. Edward F. Edinger’s book: “Creation of Consciousness: Jung's Myth for Modern Man (Studies in Jungian Psychology)” is an interesting book to peruse in order to understand the metaphysical thought of the great psychiatrist Carl G. Jung. Dr. Edinger has done a good job interpreting Jung regarding the role of myth in modern society; however, there are some inconsistencies in the book that need to be clarified. I am aware that my opinions will bother some Jungians psychologists; however, in the realm of science personal feelings should be left aside. To make a thorough review of the whole book would require another volume; thus I limit these comments to the main ideas expressed in the first chapter of the book entitled: “The New Myth.”
Dr. Edinger’s core postulates are: “The purpose of human life is the creation of consciousness.” And “consciousness is somehow born out of the experience of opposites” (p. 17).
First of all, man does not create consciousness; this is similar to saying that the “brain creates consciousness,” which is a fallacy and materialistic viewpoint. On the contrary, consciousness creates man as a means of being able to manipulate the external world. According to the Occidental Qabalah and the Oriental Vedanta philosophy, the only thing that exists is the universal consciousness, that is, the universal Life-force pervading the whole universe, and man makes use of it but does not create it. Saying the brain creates consciousness is similar to believing that man creates the air that he breathes.
Second, consciousness is not “born out of experiences of opposites”; this is a dualistic point of view. The Hebrew Bible encapsulates the duality of physical manifestation in the metaphoric tale of the “Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.” We learn through the contrasting of opposites, but we do not create consciousness; we gain awareness of it.
The problem is that consciousness in ordinary man is still dormant, and consequently, he is unable to develop his full potential as a spiritual being. However, the spark of consciousness is latent in every human psyche while man, unaware of it, walks the world in a state of somnambulism, mesmerized by the mechanical external manifestation of his own subconscious creation. It is now acknowledged by the scientific mainstream that even animals and plants share part of this universal consciousness on a rudimentary level. Modern science is making strides in demonstrating that animals and plants have some minimal level of feelings and awareness. This is verified by the fact that animals such as dogs, dolphins, cats, and others express certain levels of emotions and intelligence.
Back in the 18th century, the great German philosopher Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) stated, the “purpose of human existence is the expansion of consciousness” (It is said that Kant was familiar with the Oriental philosophy through the Bhagavad Gita). This is the key to the whole matter, the expansion or awakening of consciousness.
Edinger quotes Jung as follows: “Man’s task is …to become conscious that press upward from the unconscious [….] the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being” (p. 16). These statements imply the concept of awareness of the contents of the subconscious mind by the conscious mind, not the creation of consciousness. On the other hand, Edinger has confused the role of man as co-creator in the universe. All Oriental and Occidental authentic schools of mystery acknowledge that man’s role in the arena of the world is to become a conscious co-creator with the Universal Life-force, Universal Mind, or God; whatever you want to called IT.
Furthermore, according to Mr. Edinger the myth for the New Age is the “creation of consciousness”; it should be said more appropriately that the myth of the New Age is the awakening of consciousness. This does not imply a creation of consciousness. Thus, the message of the New Age, the Aquarian Age, is in fact the awakening of the full potential of human consciousness and becoming linked to the Universal Mind. Jung confirmed this assessment when he said, “the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being.”

(Excerpt from the book: Aquarian Age and the Andean Prophecy)
The Inca culture made theirs one of the greatest empires developed on the American continent. A brochure about the Incas published by the Organization of American States equates the Inca Empire with the Roman at the time of Caesar's birth. The Incas considered themselves to be the "Children of the Sun." Their capital was Cusco, located in what is now Perú. The territorial power of the Incas extended through Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and some parts of Chile and Argentina. So fabulous was the wealth of the Incas in gold and silver, that the conquest of their empire became the burning ambition of the Spaniards who discovered it in the 1520's.
The peak of the splendor of this empire was reached under the kingdom of Inca Huayna Capac. At his death, he left the empire fragmented between his two sons: Atahualpa and Huascar. The succession of the empire was disputed between these two sons. When the Spaniards invaded Peru, they found the empire in a civil war, which made the conquest relatively easy. An interesting point is that the Inca priesthood already had a legend about the empire coming to an end according to their cosmological predictions (see the scholarly work of William Sullivan: “The Secret of the Incas”). This may be why the Incas did not put up much resistance to the foreign conquest. Since the priesthood and part of the Inca’s elite already knew of the collapse of the Incan empire; they may have resigned themselves to their destiny.
It is important to make a distinction between the colonization of North America and the invasion of South America. When the Spaniards came to the Incan Empire, their main goal was to strip and rob all the wealth from this part of the world. In addition, since the conquest took the pretext of religious conversion of the "indigenes," the conquest implied the imposition of the European cultural beliefs, which meant the destruction of all the culture and religious beliefs of the Incan Empire. The Catholic Church and the Spanish Inquisition considered the Incas' beliefs and religious practices as a sacrilege and blasphemy to the Catholic beliefs.
A completely different thing happened in North America. The Europeans who came to this land came to settle and colonize, which meant to live on this land. They were escaping from religious persecution, and they wanted a free territory where they could practice their religious beliefs openly; in addition to that, they were looking for new opportunities for prosperity. Therefore, we can say without any shadow of doubt that the immigrants who came to North America had an intention to build a new country. In fact, the people who achieved independence from English colonization, and the real builders of this great country (U.S.A.), were people acquainted with the Masonic principles of freedom and equality among men. There are several books now indicating that some of the people who set the foundations of The United States of America as a nation were in fact influenced by Freemasons ideals and principles. The American Revolution was carried out by prominent Freemasons such us: George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, James Monroe, Alexander Hamilton, among others.[1] Some of the signers of the Declaration of Independence and the signers of the American Constitution were freemasons. In addition, 15 American Presidents were freemason.[2] Furthermore, we can observe some vestiges of Masonic symbols in the American dollar bill and the Great Seal of the United States of America.[3]
The Spaniards arrived at the Inca Empire hungry for gold, silver, and jewelry. They sacked, looted, and plundered the Inca treasure; in addition, they destroyed palaces, temples, roads, and aqueducts. They attacked every cultural patrimony because it was considered a blasphemy according to their European culture and to the canons of the Christian religion. For example, although the Inca Atahualpa received Pizarro with great dignity and courtesy, Pizarro captured him asked a huge ransom in gold and silver for his freedom. Once Atahualpa faithfully fulfilled the terms of his ransom by filling a room full of gold and two rooms of silver; nevertheless, Pizarro treacherously ordered the Inca put to death.
The Spaniards not only ransacked all the treasures of the Inca Empire but also committed one of the worst genocides in this part of the continent. History does not say much about the genocide that the Spaniards perpetrated in Central America with the Aztec and Mayan cultures and with the Inca Empire in South America. The invaders not only unnecessarily killed aborigines at the time of the invasion, but also continued exterminating the natives of Central and South American through the strenuous slavery work in the mines extracting gold and silver, and using the natives in slavery work in farms and fields. It can be said without exaggeration that the 400 years of the presence of the Spaniards in this part of the American continent were characterized mainly by exploitation, genocide and destruction of the cultural patrimony of the Incan, Aztec, and Mayan civilizations.
It is said that the winners write the history of a nation. The Latino American history was written with the censorship of the Spanish Inquisition in mind. Therefore, much of the information recorded is completely distorted and veiled. However, we can rescue the true history of any civilization through its legends, myths, tales, and chronicles. In this case, the history of the Incan Empire was recorded in a fragmented way by the Spanish invaders and by “mestizos"[4] such as Inca Garlilaso de la Vega.
The true history of Andean spirituality needs to be rewritten based on information available through anthropology, archaeology, mythology, and other sources. We find here and there small hints and traces of information about what would have been the real dimension of the pre-Incas’ and Incas’ spirituality.[5] There is a persistent theory indicating that the Incas were the final phase of a highly evolved culture, and that previous to the Inca period, which roughly started around the 11th century, there were several scattered cultures in Peru, Bolivia and the northern part of Chile and Argentina. They were very advanced socially and economically and were based on a high level of spiritual development. The question here is, was the mystical tradition of the pre-Inca cultures part of the Universal White Brotherhood mentioned by Madame Blavatsky? Almost nothing is known about the mystical Orders, which dwell in the remote parts of the Andes, such as the Intic Churincuna (Solar Brotherhood), the Brotherhood of the Seven Rays, etc. This is quite understandable because authentic spiritual societies do not seek public recognition nor try to publicize themselves.
There is a very interesting statement made by one of the authentic late Qabalists named Dion Fortune. This is a wake up call for all students of occultism and esotericism on this part of the continent. She asserted: “American occultism will never come into its own until it ceases to import its systems from Europe and India, but goes back along the line of its own tradition, picking up the aboriginal contacts, and daring to bend them to its own evolutionary purposes. It must seek the contacts of the Sun Temple of Atlantis through the Maya tradition. Egypt has no message for the United States. Americans can learn esoteric philosophy and science from the Eastern Tradition, but the initiatory forces cannot be conveyed across the Atlantic or the Pacific. Some day there will come an American who will pick up the Ancient Maya contacts, adapt them to modern needs, and express their forces in an initiatory ritual which shall be valid for the civilization to which he belongs.”[6] The highlight is ours).
One thing is evident, that the universal mystical tradition was spread out around the world. We find it in the Egyptian, Chaldean, Hebrew, and Phoenician cultures of the Near East; in the Taoist, the I Ching, the Buddhist, Hindu, and Yogi philosophies of the Far East; in the African and in the Arabic mystical Orders and in the Rosicrucian, Qabalistic and Alchemical traditions of Europe. In the American continent, the mystical tradition reportedly was nestled in the Inca, Aztec, and Maya cultures.
Dion Fortune clearly indicates that the American occultists should go back to their spiritual roots to find their real spiritual path. The tradition indicates that the spiritual masters from the Lemurian and Atlantean migrated to different parts of the globe before their continent disappeared under the sea. In the American continent their vestiges are to be found in the Inca, Aztec, and Maya cultures as well as in other parts of the world where they developed very advance cultures. Dion Fortune also says that we should seek the contacts of the Sun Temple of Atlantis through the Mayan Tradition. Here it seems there is a clear mistake because it is well known that the Temple of the Sun in America was the temple of Koricancha, which was located in Cusco - Peru. This city was the capital of the Tahuantinsuyo (Inca’s Empire). The name Koricancha means the "Place of Gold" in the Quechua language. And the Quechua word for gold was, "the tears wept by the Sun." The chronicles that narrate the Temple of the Sun before it was completely stripped of its treasures by the Spanish invaders, described its interiors as literally a mine of gold. “From the western wall of the temple, the face of the Sun God looked down from a massive golden disc, thickly encrusted with emeralds and precious stones; the rays of the morning sun fell directly on the great plaque, lighting up the interior with dazzling brilliance.” The Spaniards after destroying the Sun Temple built a church/convent on the foundations of the Koricancha Temple. The stone foundation can still be observed on the Convent below named Santo Domingo Convent.
KORICANCHA: The Temple of the Sun
The oral tradition asserts that the chosen ones, the initiates, who migrated to the Andean Cordillera through the Eastern Islands. They searched for the right place to build a new civilization. They arrived at the sacred lake called Lake Titicaca located in Puno (Perú/Bolivia) from which they sought for the center of the universe to establish a new civilization. It is said that they were sent with a golden staff and they were advised to stop where the golden staff would sink into the ground. After journeying over the highlands from Lake Titicaca, they came across to a fertile valley of great beauty. Here on a hillside, their golden staff vanished when they plunged it into the earth. On this place was found Qosco (or Cusco). Cusco in Quechua means the navel of the world. This city was the capital of the Tahuantinsuyo Empire (the Inca Empire). From Cusco the world was divided in four directions. That is why this Empire was called Tahua-ntin-suyo, meaning "The Land of the Four Parts of the World" in the native Quechua language.
It is said that there are 72 orders comprising The Great White Brotherhood dispersed all over the world. In reality the name of “Great White Brotherhood” expresses mankind's highest state of consciousness, also known as the Inner School. According to the tradition, the first and oldest of this Order was the Alpha and Omega, the Order of Melchizedek, and the last and most recent is the Brotherhood of the Seven Rays which is nestled near The Valley of the Moon and Lake Titicaca, in Peru. The purpose of this essay is to elaborate on this theory and to demonstrate that there was a contact among the secret societies of the Andes with the authentic mystical organizations of Europe.
In regard to this theory, the first and most striking hint is found in one of the manifestos of the authentic Rosicrucian Order of Christian Rosenkreutz, in Germany. This secret Order produced three small manifestos, which are: The Fama Fraternitatis (1610), the Confessio Fraternitatis (1615), and the Chemical Marriage of Christian Rosenkreutz, (1616). In the CONFESSIO, we discover the following statement: "Were it not an excellent thing so to live …that neither the people which dwell beyond the Ganges, nor those which live in Peru might be able to keep their counsels from thee." The question here is, was Perú mentioned as a part of the Universal White Brotherhood? Let's bear in mind that the Confessio was published at the beginning of the 17th century. At that time, the means of communication were very poor; there was no telegraph or radio, and South America was in its early stage of colonization, where the Spanish control and the Inquisition were very strong.
The great American Qabalist Paul Foster Case in his private lessons on Tarot provides the clue to understanding the above statement. He said the Confessio "was published by the European branch of the world-wide occult society we call the Inner School.” Note that it refers to "those beyond the Ganges" and "those in Peru." Here is a hint that the anonymous writers who published the CONFESSIO in 1616 were in communication with the Himalayan Brothers "beyond the Ganges" and with the strong center, located in the Andes, which had been in touch with both the Asiatic and the European groups since long before Columbus sailed to find the Indies."[7]
There are three very important intimations in Dr. Paul F. Case’s assertion: First, he mentioned a “European branch of a world-wide occult society in contact with other occult societies"; second, he referred to the center located in Perú as a "strong center located in the Andes"; and third, he mentioned that the Himalayan and the Andean brotherhood had been in contact. This clearly indicates that he was aware of the mystical Orders located in the Himalayan and Andes (Perú), and he was also acquainted with the fact that the Andes society was a "strong [spiritual] center."
Another mystical scholar, Dr. Serge Raynaud de la Ferriére, founder of the Grand Fraternidad Universal (Great Universal Brotherhood), an institution with several branches scattered around the world promoting the brotherhood of human beings, and whose teachings include Yoga, Astrology, Metaphysics, Esotericism, etc., has also highly regarded the Incan mysticism. Dr. Raynaud de la Ferriére in his book "Los Grandes Mensajes" (The Great Messages) wrote about an esoteric school located in the Peruvian Andes. According to him, the American continent has a special regenerator such as Tibet was in the past for Asia. He also asserted that the Andes would be the place where the mystical masters will dwell on in the Aquarian Age. Dr. Raynaud de la Ferriére held the theory that, due to geological, magnetic, and symbolic calculations, the central point of the earth's electromagnetic fluid is being moved now to the high plateau of the Andes. He also asserted: “It is under the shade of an ancient Inca temple, a sacred place where the profane has never found, even through different organized expeditions, where the Missionaries of the Aquarian Age would retire (withdraw).” He finally indicated that this center has been jealously guarded and defended through centuries by the heirs of the Incas. As per this passage, we can conclude that Dr. Raynaud de la Ferriére was also acquainted with the Andean mystical brotherhood. Reportedly, neither Dr. Paul Foster Case nor Dr. Serge de la Ferriére has ever been physically in Perú.[8]
Dr. Krumm-Heller (Germany: 1876-1949), a remarkable member of the Fraternitas Rosae Crucis Antigua, was a promoter and founder of branches of this society in several countries in South America. He authored several books on Esotericism and Occultism. He openly claimed to be initiated in the Secret wisdom of the Andes (Perú).
Another author, George Hunt Williamson, who wrote under the penname of Brother Phillips, has also written on this matter. In his book, "The Secret of the Andes," he explained that a genuine White Brotherhood is located in a very inaccessible part of the Andean cordillera in Cusco-Perú. He stated in his book that the Inca Occult group members are the masters of the vanished Lemuria brotherhood known as the "Brotherhood of the Seven Rays," whose existence goes back to time immemorial. Lemuria was the last part of the great MU continent that existed in the Pacific, and its destruction started in the year 30,000 BC.
Brother Phillips apparently had contacted this Andean brotherhood. He asserted that the access to this brotherhood is extremely difficult and that in order to reach them, the person must travel some part walking and some on horseback; most of the trip is with the eyes covered by a blindfold. He advises foreigners that to attempt to search for these mystical societies on their own would be useless because they will never find them. And whoever had been there would not be able to say exactly where the location is, because he himself would not know the exact place. Apparently, in the beginning, the contact usually is at the astral level. That is exactly the way to contact the True and Invisible Rosicrucian Order.[9] It is also said that no one gets in contact with this Order. They are the ones who would contact the candidate when he is ready. This is according to the initiate tradition: when the disciple is ready, the master appears.
Different other authors Have written about this Andean mystical tradition; for instance, there are a few books written by Shirley MacLaine. She herself has made some expeditions to Cusco, Perú. We can continue mentioning authors and books, which call attention to the existence of a Brotherhood of Light located in the cordillera of the Andes and from which the spiritual revival will shine during the Aquarian Age.
Regarding the theory of the switch of the geomagnetic fluids of the Earth, several authors and scientific personalities have been insistently confirming that the Earth's electromagnetic center has been slowly moving from the Himalayan Mountains to the Andes. In addition, it needs to be said, and this reaffirms the above statement, that due to the geophysical changes of the planet Earth, the electromagnetic currents that were located in Tibet during the Piscean Age have been moved to the Andes, which coincides with the Aquarian Age. In the same way that Tibet and India played an earlier important role for pilgrimages up to the summits of their mountains for gurus and those in search of enlightenment, now the Andes is playing similar role in the New Era of Brotherhood and Knowledge. Among the mystical philosophers who propose this theory are Dr. Raynaud de la Ferriére and his disciple Dr. Ferris de Olivarez.[10] Hence, nowadays different esoteric and mystical organizations are making their pilgrimages to the Andes as well as to Urubamba-Cusco (sacred valley of the Incas) to have mystical gatherings and be recharged with the Andean electromagnetic fluids.
Undoubtedly, we are coming upon the threshold of the Aquarian Age. As Dr. Serge Raynaud de la Ferriére put it, the spiritual center for this new era will come out of this part of the universe, the Andes. It is said that High in the Andes Mountains is hidden the Monastery of the Seven Rays Brotherhood and the Solar Brotherhood which will flourish in the Aquarian Age.
We have come to the conclusion that the Incas’ wisdom derives from the same source of truth found in all esoteric traditions around the world. There is only one truth, and the universal teaching of the Universal White Brotherhood is similar in all its branches; for instance, there are striking similarities among the Rosicrucian teachings of Europe, the Himalayan of Asia and the Incas from South America. Concerning the analogy of these teachings with the mystical Order of the Solar Brotherhood, we can find in two books of Anton Ponce de Leon: “The Wisdom of the Ancient One” and “In search of the Wise One.” Anton Ponce de Leon has been chosen by the mystical elders of the Intic Churincuna (Solar Brotherhood) to be the messenger to spread the teaching of the Andean wisdom to the world in the Aquarian Age.

Book: The Renaissance of Mind Healing in America
Author: Albert AMAO
Why the book was entitled the Renaissance of Mind Healing in America?
Because in the mid 1800s after the death of Phineas P. Quimby, founder of New Thought Movement, a boom of New Thought practitioners emerged in the New England in America. They all devoted to heal based on the teachings of P. P. Quimby. They healed people by changing their mind. Thus the purpose of this book is to describe the phenomenon of mind/spiritual healing where conventional medicine of the time failed.
Why the subtitle of the book is How Millions of People Were Healed Without Medicine.
Since mid 1850’s when Quimby started curing people by changing their mind (beliefs system) up to nowadays millions of people around the world have been cured with this mental technique which is practiced by many organizations and churches such as: Divine Science, Religious Science, Unity Church, Quimby Memorial Church, Religious Science, and others.
This movement is a typical American phenomenon. Anderson and Whitehouse characterized the New Thought Movement as the “practical American spirituality and Williams James called it: “The religion of healthy-mindedness.”
Is mind/healing a myth or fact?
Have you ever wondered how millions of people have been healed from “incurable” diseases without medicine? Can one be restored to health through the mind only? Or is it a spontaneous remission, a placebo effect, or the result of a suggestion? This book provides a rational and coherent explanation to those unique questions. Step into the mystery of mind healing - the power of the mind to heal. What is the Contribution of the book to the New Thought Movement?
The book postulates very challenging and thought provoking ideas, such as that Phineas P. Quimby, the father of the New Thought Movement was indirectly healed by his helper Lucius Burkmar; that Mary B. Eddy, the founder of Christian Science, was healed by means of autosuggestion using Quimby’s metaphysics and by affirmations extracted from the Bible and not by divine intervention as she claimed; that Melinda Cramer, cofounder of Divine Science Church, recovered her health through awareness of the presence of the divinity; that Myrtle Fillmore, cofounder of Unity Church of Christianity, and Williams James, father of American Psychology, both of them used affirmations from the Bible to heal themselves, the first from long standing physical illness and the latter from depression and hallucinatory experiences; that Freud and Jung used self-analysis and self-confrontation to overcome their psychological crises and afterwards produced their masterpieces; Freud: The Interpretation of Dreams and Jung The Red Book respectively. These statements are fully documented in the mentioned book.

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Can one be healed through the mind only, or is it a spontaneous remission, a placebo effect, or the result of a suggestion? In his new book, “The Renaissance of Mind Healing in America: How Millions of People Were Healed Without Medicine,” expert author Dr. Albert Amao provides a rational and coherent explanation behind the mystery of mind healing, taking readers into a mystical and metaphysical world that previously was reserved to a select few people.
In the development of the book, Dr. Amao examines the exceptional healing of the most prominent religious leaders of the New Thought Movement, who recovered their health from 'incurable' diseases by mental and spiritual means. Author: Albert Amao
1. In a nutshell what is the book about?
The fundamental idea underlying these essays is to examine the so-called “conventional wisdom” under which we conduct most of our lives. The majority of the ideas incorporated in the “conventional wisdom” involve concepts that conflict with reality. When we grew up, we did not have the opportunity to choose our religion, our moral values, or our beliefs; we were ignorant and unable to discern between what to believe or not; therefore we accepted as true what our parents, teachers, mentors, religious leaders, and the dominant culture class impose unto us. As children we believe everything adults told us and this constitutes our personal creed, our faith, or outlook of life. This outlook of life (creed) is so engrained in our mind that controls our destiny.
As result human beings usually live in two worlds at the same time; one is the external universe (EU) and the other is the personal universe which can be called “Your Own Universe” (YOU). The external universe is the reality that we all share on Earth and throughout space; “Your Own Universe” (YOU) is the world created in your mind based on the creed or conventional wisdom passed down to us by our parents and teachers. Most of the time, these two worlds are in contradiction and generate problems in our lives.
It appears that man has a natural tendency to uncritically accept and go after what is dictated by “conventional wisdom,” which comes from our mentors, teachers, parents, our society culture and the mass media. For instance the main role of the mass media, on which the big companies spend huge amount of money, is to create needs and make us belief that their products are necessary for our happiness. They have co-create holidays like Valentine’s Day, father’s day, Christmas’s day, mother’s day, grandparent’s day, Halloween, etc. in order to make their products necessary to every holiday celebration. This has created the modern “consumerist society.” Mass media advertisements are based in specific psychological principles and appeal to people’s unconscious feelings and emotions in order to persuade them to buy things that they don’t really need.
We should learn to break through the herd mentality and base our outlook on life on coherent principles according to the laws of nature and reality. These essays will give the readers key ideas for reflection to enhance their awareness in life and to facilitate his/her personal self-exploration for a self-fulfilling inner discovery.
2. What is the Paradox of Life?
The fundamental paradox of life is, as we have indicated above, man lives in two different worlds which pull him in two directions. Thus, man lives in a world of apparent contradictions. Mystic, sages, and masters of life, however, tell us state that the world in which we live is in perfect harmony. We may ask, if the universe is in perfect harmony why is there so much misery, sickness, injustice, and suffering in the world? Why few people have too much wealth and the great majority have too little?
This is the paradox of life; unfortunately, ordinary man cannot understand these apparent inequalities and contradictions in the world until he experiences a higher order of knowing. A materialistic man trying to understand this paradox is like a mouse trying to understand how Albert Einstein’s mind works. The wise Ones, the real Initiates know that things in the world are exactly as they should be. The Law of Duality will always be present in life for the sake of physical manifestation in the tri-dimensional word, and these incongruities, limitations, and sufferings are necessary for the testing of man and for the development of his consciousness. Refer to the essay: The Adversary and the Redeemer, which part of the book.
3. What is the Greatest Philosophical Paradox?
Since man had use of reason, he has wondered about questions such as: Where life comes from? The answer to this question has divided philosophy into two great branches known as: Materialism and Idealism. The first considers that the world is solely a material thing composed of matter and energy, and that a valid understanding of that world depends wholly on the evidence of the senses. The second conception holds that all things have been created by a Supreme Being; this is the province of the religions of mankind. This paradox is reconciled through by a metaphysical conception of the world that holds that matter and all things in the world are expressions of an invisible “Something” that pervades the whole universe. This substance has been called by different names such as: Spirit, One Force, Universal Life force, etc.
The book also attempts to answer long standing questions based on modern scientific and philosophical speculations, questions such as: what is the purpose of our life? What is reality? What is difference between Spirit and matter? What is the role of man in the arena of life? What is faith? Do we need faith to live in this life? What is fear and what is the difference between faith and fear? Is there any point of connection between science and religion? It also examines the fallacies and deceptions on which many of the esoteric and occult doctrines are based.
4. How the Reader would benefit from reading this book?
These essays will inspire the reader to reexamine his/her outlook of life, his/her point of view on religion, philosophy, etc. Even a person who considers himself agnostic, atheist, or undecided in his/her beliefs will find extremely interesting ideas to re-examine his conception about life and the universe. For instance an atheist or agnostic must believe in something that claims his respect and his loyalty, something beyond here and now; by denying the existence of a higher Power, or Absolute, whatever he wants to call It, he or she implicitly is accepting Its existence, because one cannot deny something that does not exist. Some scientists are now positing the existence of a superior Mind that maintains the universe. In that sense, these essays provide a platform for readers to discuss and ponder age-old questions regarding their existence on earth and the meaning of their lives.
